Doi Suthep lies to the western side of the city. Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is a beautiful temple that dominates the hillside. From there you can see stunning views of Chiang Mai which are best seen in the early morning or late afternoon. During Friday, Saturday and Sunday a visit to the King's Winter Palace is included should it be open to the public. A visit to the Meo village is optional.

What to bring?

Clothing appropriate to Temples, eg. Long Trousers (no shorts) and clothing to cover your shoulders. Take a camera to picture those stunning views and some Thai Baht for the restaurant or donation.

Tours leave daily from Chiang Mai, 8.30 to 12.30 and 1.30pm to 5.00pm
